Will All Bagel's Beagle Puppies Find their Forever Homes?

Yay! I found my forever home!  (I gave them my puppy dog eyes.)

Hi everyone!

So here we are at Week 11 and I'm crossing my fingers that all of the puppies MAY have found their forever homes.  Turquoise girl, Lulu, found her new family last Sunday and is living in Portsmouth, OH.  She has been renamed Carly, after what I was told was a high level family meeting!  Green girl, Matilda, also met her new family last Sunday and has plans to move to Erlanger, KY later on today.

Now my name is Carly!

Yay!  I leave for my forever home today!

The remaining puppies who are available for adoption are my Buddy, Blue boy Jake, and Green boy Simon.  They spent the day yesterday at an adoption event at Petsmart at Bridgewater Falls.  My babies hammed it up for the masses and worked their magic.  My Buddy and Jake have the opportunity to go to a new home together, which would be absolutely perfect!  Another family is considering Simon.  I don't know yet if everything will fall into place for these guys, but I'm sure keeping my fingers crossed!

Oops! Too close! A little too close.

Hello to everyone!

I'm pleased to announce that 3 of Bagel's puppies have gone on to their new homes!  I have mixed feelings about this, as I'm sad to see the little ones go (I miss them so much!), while at the same time I'm also overjoyed to know that those puppies have found wonderful new homes!  We are still looking to find homes for 5 more puppies, so if you know anyone who may be looking for a furry new addition for their family, please pass the word about these babies.  Also, keep in mind that Bagel Bailey needs her own forever home!

At 9 weeks old, the puppies are rambunctious, outgoing, and curious.  They constantly play and explore everything on their jaunts outside of their kennel and I'm amazed at how fearless they are!  I will say, the unfortunate side-effect of their wanderings, coupled with their keen searching ability, is that they are very skilled at finding stinky things - and right now, everything goes in the mouth.  (Green girl found a dead mouse today and enjoyed playing a lovely game of keep away from me. YUCK!)  Luckily, the puppies aren't always so gross.  In fact, most everything they do is just SOOOO stinkin' cute! (No pun intended.)  They run, tumble, and wrestle nonstop, constantly putting a smile on my face.  They beg to be held, roll over for belly rubs, and when they finally tire themselves out, they snuggle with me and each other.  Is there anything cuter than a puppy?  Check out the following pictures and I'm sure you'll be asking yourself the same thing!
